The watch was simply lovely. However it just didn't look right on my wrist. Guess I am just too petite. I arranged for a send back and had it in my car to ship back and I was broken in to. So sad that someone took my watches and my I Pod

It isn't easy to adjust
This isn't the first Invicta whatch I have gotten. But I think it will be the last. The bands are always gigantic and you have to pay at least twenty dollars to get them made smaller. This one says specifically there are individual screws that can be removed to make the band smaller. I have gotten several small screw drivers and nothing can remove the stupid screws. They just go around. It isn't that the screwdriver doesn't work, it is that the screw doesn't come out. I am not a particularly small woman but this would slide all the way up to my elbow if I tried to wear it. So my question is--who are these made for?

I just bought this watch to use as a countdown timer for sailboat racing. It is easy to use and read, but what it found out is that the location of the start/split button on the bottom of the face is far too easy to bump. It was stopped when I didn't want it to be and I had to restart it. The next time I looked at it it was stopped again. Not good when you're trying to time something. I tried four times and each time I looked at it it was stopped. I think for running it is probably fine, but for activities where it might get bumped it's no good. I am going to try to take it back and get something with a start/reset button that is more difficult to bump.

I admit, I am a watch head. I bought this watch, not expecting much, intending it to be my daily "beater" watch for work but have been very surprised and have received compliments almost daily. As the specifications indicate it is a bit large for a medium / slim lady's wrist (in a good way), is tall (not a low profile watch - so beware of Cuffs tight shirt) and has tiny tiny diamonds (just enough to reflect ... not look like blingy sparkle). While this is not comparable to my day, Jaeger or Omega but it is a solidly made watch for the money. Good value!

It looks much better than I had expected. I love the chunky, square style. If you have ever had a good diamond watch, you will know that this one does not fit the bill but as a great every day watch it definitely does. I am a real watchdefault head having several good watches from other very good brands and still love this one for the style. To sum up: if you are looking for a real diamond watch, this one is not for you, but if all you want is a good stylish watch ... Go for it!

If you want to pay the full price, go before, but this is a great deal about the real thing, with a Buy two-year warranty instead of Cartier. This is the only difference. Also fast shipping. Very pleased so far
I received the watch promptly.
The photos of this watch on the websites I have searched always show the MOP face as rather colorful but, as I often discovered when searching the web and reading reviews, the MOP in the watch I received looks white. I can see hints of color if I roll the face in bright light and look for it. Still, it does look very nice, I just was expecting color when glancing at the face.
I have only worn it a day but I am delighted. I found, in keeping with reviews on other sites I had read, that the bands are very very stiff when new so I rolled them up and straightened them out a few times before putting the watch on. The quick release feature of the bands did allow me to change the bands quickly without a special tool. The leather of the band was still stiff but has softened a little already with a few hours of wearing. I have a large wrist and the bands fit. The band adjustment includes 8 punched holes to choose from so it could fit a small to average wrist too.
The color of the bands that I received is rather accurate except that the colors are softer in real life. This is especially true for the `copper' band. In the Amazon photo the color is an intense burnished orange or copper. In real life, the color is much softer, no where near as intense, and has a bit more pink in it. I was surprised that I liked this color best - it is not far off from a skin tone (except that it has a metallic shine to it.) The other watch band colors are softer than shown in the photo - but the difference is not as significant.
The hour and minute hands of the watch glow in the dark and are easily visible due to the amount of luminous material coating them.
In my online searches, this watch is sometimes classified in the WildFlowers collection (true of Amazon) and also classified as the Lupah collection (also true of Amazon).
I am very pleased with it. My impression, handling the watch, is that is made of good materials and worth the cost. But, only time will tell.....(sorry! I just couldn't resist!)"

Stay Fit with the Timex heart Rate Monitor

I have a much older version that has worked perfectly for several years. This new one has the advantage of the 30 lap memory. You can get your time and average heart rate for every split and the overall run. You also get min, average and max heart rate for the run. My monitor works great, is reasonably comfortable to wear and is easy to read when running. I highly recommend it.

Pros & Cons

I've had two of these watches now and I like the product overall, but with some tragic flaws.

Pros:

- The buttons are well laid out and easy to use while exercising.

- Has all of the basic features needed for exercising (set heart rate ranges, alerts, calorie counting, lap, alarm, timer, etc.)

- Good screen size and readability while exercising

Cons: (the tragic flaws)

- Nothing about this watch is waterproof. If you get your sweat into it, the buttons stop working temporarily (I strap it to my bike or put it in my pocket while running to avoid getting it wet).

- I went swimming with it twice to monitor my heart rate, both times it fogged the screen and once it stopped working for a week until it had ample time to dry out.

- After a few months, the heart rate is not picked up by the watch (don't know if it is the watch or transmitter). I first thought it might be the battery and had them both changed (watch & transmitter) but the problem persisted.

When I had problems with the first one, I returned it within a week and the store gave me a new one. When the second one experienced the same problems, the 90 day warrenty period expired and I was left with a flaky watch with no recourse. I (stupidly) bought another since I liked design and thought I just experienced some bad luck with the first two. I made my second purchase of the watch (it was on sale) and it worked fine for 6 months before it too stopped receiving the heart rate.

The price was cheap, so you get what you pay for.

The pedometer is the reason I bought this watch. Accuracy was OK. to be expected for the price without GPS. Easy to read numbers. Complaints are the face scratched very easily and made it hard to read the numbers. The face plate popped off after 4 months and had to glued several times. Very complicated to figure out. Last but not least the band was awful. The color does stay pretty for long after you sweat it turns peach on the band which looks terrible with the pink face. It always looked dirty.(bleach did not help)

If you spin, this product is not for you. The display of the heart rate is very small (in relation to the time, stopwatch, other bells and whistles) and you cannot see it in a darkened room unless the backlight is on. You have to hit a button to illuminate with the backlight and it turns off again within seconds.

This watch I was really pleased with. It didn't look like a bulky sports watch and has a timer and a stopwatch. The reason I ended up not keeping it was because it DOESN'T have a light so it makes it hard to read when there isn't a lot of light and at night.

Customer Review: TAGs are great, just don't buy from Amazon

Ordered watch for my wife. Watch was not running. Probably dead battery. It also looked like it had been worn for some period of time before. Requested replacement online, but no paid shipping label -- have to ship and insure yourself even though defective. Used the Amazon contact/call feature but because of the price, no one wants to deal with this. I was told to send the watch back using the label generated by Amazon that did not include postage or insurance and then call back to get reimbursed for the postage. They weren't sure whether Amazon would reimburse the shipping insurance. Save yourself the hassle and pay an extra $100 from a watch company. All that said, I have a TAG Calibre S and absolutely love it. Great watch.

I ordered two watches to give to mother and mother in law. One of the watches is apparently a returned item. The box is crushes, the watch is dirty and of course the film on the cover is missing. The one that's new looks beautiful. However, the used one looks really cheap and like a $1 plastic toy. Amazon does not even bother to 'refurbish' the watch before they sell it as new. I consider myself lucky to have a look at it before I gave it to the in-law.

I absolutely love this HRM!!! I bought it 5 months ago after months of researching all the HRM on the market. My husband bought a Sunnto model 2 months prior to my purchase and it was fine, but the watch itself was bigger and had lots of buttons and just seemed to "gadget-ie" to me. Not to mention I hated the thought of spending hundreds of dollars on a HRM, he paid almost $200 for his Sunnto. I wasn't sure that this HRM would give me what I needed because of the great price($89), but I was pleasantly surprised after my first use!
I was looking for a model that was easy to use that gave me an accurate HR reading, workout timer, calorie counter, workout log and this Polar F4 has it all. Super easy to use and easy to read display make this a 10 in my book. If you are worried about the chest strap being uncomfortable it really isn't bad. Took me a couple workouts to get used to it, but now I forget that its even there.
I found that in the first month I was exercising on average 1 extra time per week and about 10-20 mins longer per workout than before buying this HRM. I'm sure its because I tell myself things like..."Only 30 more calories to 400" it keeps me working longer and harder.
This is a must for anyone who is looking to make a fitness plan for the New Year.

I just bought this watch elsewhere (from REI), and this one is NOT like the one that I bought. The dial numbers are different colors, as well as the hands and the dial face. I just wonder if this watch is authentic, because the one that I bought is very, very nice, and quite beautiful, which doesn't match the impression of the previous reviewer. This one looks a good deal cheaper (and it DOES cost significantly less than the recommended $350 that this watch usually sells for). Just thought I'd let potential buyers know.

This watch looks kind o cheap and I did not see the quality of Victorinox in it, it was for a present and I ended up giving it to someone else. Purchased a Wenger a couple of days latter for less and it looks and feels better than this one.

Awesome Watch

I've owned this watch for about 7 years now and I love it!! I like this shiny black look which won't change color. I had another baby-g watch in purple, but over time and use it turned a dingy yellow. It looked so bad that I decided to get a black one this time. It takes a lot of abuse and the battery lasts a long time!! The best feature about it is that the calendar is automatic so I don't have to change the dates at the end of each month. I'm buying one for my 11-year old daughter since she's also rough on her jewelry. Great item and the price is fantastic!!

My wife bought this watch and really liked it and then gave me the men's version for Christmas. This watch is not atomic, the mens watch is, which is nice. I would give Casio 5 stars if the atomic clock automatically changed when you move timezones. But if you like to have the time earlier to get to appointments on time, then don't get the atomic clock.

Customer Review: If this is the midsize, where is the small? Band way too large

I'm a 5'9" small-framed athlete, and I could not wear this watch. There simply weren't enough holes in the band for it to sit flush on my wrist. Not to mention the strap is looooooooooooong. I mean, comically long. My 5'7" male trainer put it on and was on one of the first holes. If your wrist is remotely small, there will be a huge excess of strap hanging off the end, and due to the design, it would look wrong if cut off. I had to return it. Too bad - the face size is nice for a woman's small wrist, but with the seemingly dozen other holes in the band, I had to wonder - if you're using the outermost hole, well that would look ridiculous. The face would then look miniscule on that wrist.

I have not had any problems with this watch. It is small enough to fit my very small wrist with a hole or two left over. The chest strap is not uncomfortable, once I put it on it can be concealed easily and I don't even notice it. I have never had a problem getting a heart rate. I have not used every function yet but I do enjoy the review portion of the watch in all. I highly recommend this watch to anyone who wants something that is not too expensive, and is very user friendly.

I ahve always ben a timex fan and bought tthis for swimming. It fogged almost as soon as I entered the pool. Iam terribly disapponited in this watch...It is supposed to be waterproof to 40 meters and instead it fogged after being a meter deep and swimming a lap....

I love this watch. It is a great bargain and does everything I want and need it to do. I only wish the words for the button functions were darker (they are white) - it's hard to see when you're crossing the finish line and want to stop the stop watch. But after using it a while I should remember what button does what!

Customer Review: Great watch for gym & outdoors

It's very cute and perfect size for my petite body size. Got many compliments right away. It made my workout so much easier with very useful functions & I especially like the interval timers to use for circuit training. It got wet during creek crossings on a hike but it works fine.
The only cons are that the the band gets dirty easily & the buttons are little hard to push down. But I still love the watch.

The final decision on purchasing this sports watch was that it had multiple (3) alarms... I run and cycle and use it to time my workouts as well. So far I have used the lap/interval feature just once; seems easy to use. The other features are quite easy to navigate. I like the watch's small size and the color I selected-gray/blue. It doesn't overpower my small wrist like the black ones I used to wear.
I do like the multiple alarm feature plus the capability of setting a repeating alarm for weekdays-only if needed. Wish that the alarm was a bit louder...
The Indiglo has changed from other Timex-s and Nike I've owned in that the digits light up instead of the face of the watch. The display is not as immediately readable unless it's very dark outside.
Hope that the band will last and not break easily (as other reviewers experienced) since it is a bit stiff. I've only had my Timex for a few weeks and so far I am pleased with it.

I wear this watch almost all the time. I do the dishes, wash my face, take showers, work in the garden, even swim with that watch, and it has not fogged up or scratched. I like the indigo light to check out the time at night. I also like the date setting and the alarm setting. Too many other settings that I haven't figured out yet. The wrist band is very comfortable. I usually don't like the hard bands because they hurt, the soft bands get wet and moldy, others pinch or leave marks. This wrist band is excellent. I wish the watch looked a little bit more dressy to wear to the office, but I don't care, I still wear it with a suit even though I know it looks a little off.

Customer Review: Don't push buttons while in water

I have worn this watch for a number of 1/2 marathons, work outs, etc. But my first triathlon in it ruined it. I hit the lap button while coming out of the water and the watch no longer shows all numbers. The instruction manual says do not push buttons in water (I did not read that until it was too late). However, this watch is marketed to triathletes, so you think it could have laps kept while swimming. Apparently not. Aside from that I loved the watch. I still may order another. I just won't use it for swimming.

Customer Review: Nice watch with a few flaws

I like most of the features of this watch, my main complaint is the buttons are hard to push and it gains time. I like my watch to have the exact time and after a few months it would be a minute ahead of my atomic clock. I had to stop wearing it because it is too heavy and it made my arthritis flare up, hopefully this is a problem most people don't have to worry about.

I love the back light is pink, it is pretty easy to change the time zones too.

I have had this Monitor for about 6 months and could be happier. I am in my senior years and use the monitor for x-c sking, roller blading, and biking. It is always acturate and gives you a good break down of your basic heart rate workout information.
Yes, you could buy a much more expensive heart rate monitor which gives you all that unnecessary information about your heart, but if you just want to know how your heart is ticking, then Timex is your best choice.
One little negative is that if you buy from Amazon, it does take 4-6 weeks for delivery. Really!! Best to order when things are quiet.

Customer Review: Product quality issues but nothing major.
I've owned my monitor for one year. I don't know how I ever trained without one. That said, my monitor has also had some issues. The ring to hold the band in place became brittle and cracked/broke and came off several months ago. I now use a band of duct tape in its place. I have also had issues with its accuracy, but I find that I can fix it with a battery replacement in the chest strap (which if find to be so comfortable that I don't even feel it when I'm wearing it.) I can replace the battery myself, so that's a cheap fix. I use the monitor five days a week for 1 to 2 hours, so I'm not sure if having to replace the battery four times in a year is unreasonable or not. I can usually tell that the battery is dying when I start seeing Max HR 240 reads showing up. The chest strap MUST be wetted before you put it on if you hope to get it to read well. I have never had a problem with it picking up other signals from machines or other HR monitors. After reading other reviews, I do think that it's a good HR monitor provided that you don't mind the look of a little duct tape.

As a runner I have to say that the Timex Ironman Watch was a real disappointment. This product is totally overrated (I really don't know how they got the authorization to put the Ironman logo on it, since it does not even work correctly under easy training conditions). If you are serious about running/exercising/competing and looking for a good heart rate monitor watch to control your performance, you better look for another product. It ramdomly goes crazy while training and/or competing, chest strap is too tight and watch size is perfect for small women or skinny guys, not real men.

Customer Review: My first HRM
I have run used this HRM for several weeks now and am pretty happy with it. It is my first one, so I have nothing to compare it to. I have found it to be quite easy to use and very helpful in making my runs meaningful. I have used it at the Y a few times and it doesn't work with their machines. I ran a 5k with it and for some reason it didn't start sending a good signal until half way through. I like the cal. function and I like that I can see the heart rate, the zone I am in, and the time all at once.
As far as keeping it simple and stupid, this watch is it. Nothing too fancy, just another extremely reliable Timex product.

Pulse measurement works great. I always get a reading and it seems to be stable and accurate. No interference with radio, tv, etc.

1) The manuals are poorly written and the operation of the watch is somewhat counterintuitive if you're used to Casio-type watches. I've managed to get most functions to work, like recording max/min/avg pulse during a workout. The "recover" mode remains a mystery to me (and I'm not a complete moron: M.S. in engineering)
2) The watch is a bit cumbersome to put on and take off because of an annoying little security feature on the bracelet. Makes it more safe, probably, but I'm not planning to go skydiving with it, so I would be better off without.

Love the 2 timers

If you train using walk breaks or intervals, this is the watch for you. The 2 timers are fantastic. This is my second Sleek and I would get another or buy one for a friend.

Dirty!
I really loved the way this watch looked out of the box. It fit nicely and was functional and pretty in pink. After only 2!! days, the bottom ont eh strap looked like it was dirty. I tried washing it, but it would not come clean. Now, after wearing it for about 2 weeks, the entire strap looks dirty and dull. I havent even done anything dirty in it that would warrant it getting this way. I do wear it 24/7, but I go from work to school and to home, and thats about it. I am going to contact Amazon and see if I could maybe replace it with the black one.

Pretty but Uncomfortable

Although I thought this was a nice-looking for a water-resistant sport watch, and the actual timepiece worked, I found the band very uncomfortable. I ended up losing the watch after less than a year, because I took it off somewhere because it was hurting my wrist. Also, very quickly the rubberized band got dirty (I wore it camping) and I could not find any way to clean it: I tried various soaps, shampoos, rubbing alcohol: nothing worked.

Classy watch, great price

This watch has a really classy design. It is not overly dainty and I hope that means it will last a while. The watch itself is a bit thicker (sticks out about 1/4 in) than I imagined it to be. I found the previous poster's suggestions on how to shorten the band very helpful, though it does take a bit of force to do it, and some specific types of tools (I didn't have a small screwdriver and used a sturdy mechanical pencil tip instead). I do wish that there was a way to adjust for a 1/2 link size.

Pretty, sophisticated watch

I wanted a stainless steel watch with a black face, and this one looked lovely for the price. My husband had a Casio many years ago that lasted just about forever, so I decided to give it a try. The watch is beautiful, and I'm glad I decided to buy it. It's lovely and understated and is very attractive. I do have to get used to reading it where there are no numbers on the rectangular dial, but I'm sure I'll be just fine! I would definitely recommend this watch at this price, although the band on mine seems to be shorter than other reviewers reported.

I am very pleased with my purchase. This watch is easy to set up and use. For a heart rate monitor, I think it looks quite nice. The chest transmitter is comfortable & I forget that I have it on. Also, I have never had a need to add anything besides water to the sensors. Amazon definitely has the best prices on this heart rate monitor. I searched on-line and around town but, everyone else is selling this for about $40.00 more.

Button fell out!

Product worked as described; however, on my second day of owning the watch the STP/RST button fell out while I was riding my trainer.
I was able to find the small black button on the carpet and place it back into the watch but it won't stay in. I have since shipped this back to Amazon and re-ordered another Timex with a different styling...
On the plus side, the HRM and Watch features worked as expected. I am guessing that as with everything, there is a certain % of defects in manufacturing, and I just got unlucky...

Excellent watch.
I bought two of these for my twin daughters. They are proud and wear these regularly. One asked me when she should get the battery replaced. Surprise! these never need a battery because they are powerd by the most common energy source.... Light. I have my own Eco-Drive watch and love the fact that I only have to expose to room light to keep it going for years. I chose this design because it was identical to a watch they gave me for father's day years ago. Now we are all twins.

A real winner
One of the few women's watches that is not too small, is easy to read, has a second hand and a date window. I have two complaints though. The date window could be a bit bigger, it can be difficult at times to read. And the size adjustment of the bracelet could be better, it is done by removing links only. I would like to see the adjustment at the clasp, with links as the last resort. Other than that, it is a nice clean design that seems to draw favorable comments.

Movado Men's Luno Watch 0605556

Fine Watch, Great Crystal, Soft-ish band
First of all, I actually got the silver dial version (which is a sliver cheaper), but Amazon isn't allowing me to review that one for some reason. Other than the color of the dial, it's the exact same watch as this one shown.

It's a beautiful design. Simple, elegant, and hot.

Reliability is also a big plus with Movado. I have a wind-up Movado pocketwach from 1905, and it keeps better time than a Seiko I had a few years ago. Generally, if you take care of your Movado, it will last for a very, very long time. The Luno looks to be no exception to this rule.

Movado this the right thing with the choice of crystal. The Luno's sapphire crystal is a must have for something this pricey. Expect this crystal to be in great shape 50 years from now when it's time for you to pass this down to your son.

The band is the bomb . . . almost. Obviously, the unique draw to the Luno series is the half-moon design. At least that's why I bought it vs. the other models. The butterfly clasp design conceals the latch mechanism for that continuous look, though their fedora "M" logo is acid etched on the last link. So why is the band only almost the bomb? It's heavy, and it's a bit too easy to scratch. I guess that's what you get with stainless steel though. I'm wondering if a titanium band would have done a better job dropping the weight and improving on the hardness.

All of this for under $1000. I love that Movado is on the low-end of the high-end watches. For $460 (what I paid), this watch is more stylish and gets more compliments than Rolex, Omega, Longines, you name it. It keeps time just as accurately, and it draws just the appropriate amount of attention in the board room.

I haven't been able to find any compelling deals on watches between the $500-$1000 mark, keeping in mind that this watch is ~$450. If you have a budget to stay under $1000 for a watch, then buy two of these.

Movado
Purchased both the men's and women's Luno. Had to return the mens due to a faulty clasp after bringing it to a jeweler to have the band shortened. Strange that Movado would let a watch leave the factory with such an obvious defect.

Smaller than noted from Invicta - Not Swiss
This is my 4th Invicta Watch. it is a very nice time piece; however, when I called Invicta to inquire about the size they noted that it was the same as the 8926 Automatic. It actually is not, so there web site (Invicta) was incorrect. It's pretty sad when the manufacturer does not have the accurate information. The watch has more of a purple versus blue background; however, it is a nice look. Invicta also notes that this is a Mako Swiss. The watch is made in Japan and does not have any notes or Swiss markings. The case back requires a special tool to remove it and change the battery. Overall it is a nice time piece; however, I only gave it a 4 primarily because of the Invicta inaccuracies and lack of customer service that they are known for.

Gorgeous Watch!!
I recieved the Seiko Coutura Watch for Christmas and it is much more beautiful in person than on the web site. I have worn Seiko watches all my life and I am in my 40's. I have had only 3 other Seikos because they last so long and hold up so well. I replaced them only because I wanted a new style. This coutura line is unbelievable. I have been looking at a similiar watch by Rolex and of course it is thousands of dollars more expensive. I must say the Seiko is just as beautiful if not more gorgeous than the Rolex. I am so happy with my new Seiko! It is dressy yet casual enough to wear everyday and I will. I am sure I will be enjoying my Seiko Diamond Accented Courtura Watch for a very long time.

I don't know what the previous customer got, but I purchased this thinking if it was cheap I would send it back. But mine is gorgeous! It is heavyweight, gorgeous on the wrist, the diamonds are classy and beautifully set, the watch screams expensive, I am extremely pleased. I took it to my jeweler as I had to have 4 links removed (small wrist) and he could not believe what I paid for it. That was without an appraisal. And trust me, he is very old school, and does not like it when I purchase jewelry from anyone but him, and loves nothing more than to tell me I was ripped off. I have sent back many a piece because of him. I am very picky and love expensive looking jewelry, and I mean it has to look expensive, not just be expensive. It's a superb piece.I love it!

watch is nice, considering when you look at the picture of it, it looks big, when you get it, it appears to be too small of a watch, but its a ladies watch. no direction in opening the bracelet to fit around your wrist, did not know it had double clasps on it, thought it was only one. after a couple of days of calling watch shops to see if they carry Boluva watches (links), alot don't, but realized a second clasp was on this bracelet, must pull hard to open, now it fits around the wrist like it should! :) now we are all happy.

Altough from the picture posted in Amazon originally I thought this wath was a little bigger (wich is the trend now a days) I'm very happy with it. It is a very elegant watch you can were to work, to go out, and even to weddings and gala events because of the little dimonds around de dial. This is a watch to wear for a long time!

Beautiful watch - erratic but Rolex USA fixed it
I've had this watch for almost two years. From the very first time I wore this watch, I noticed that it did not keep correct time. I've been told by others that this is a problem with automatic watches. However, when I wear it as my daily timepiece, it would still lose time, sometimes even stopping in the middle of the night. I had brought it back to Rolex - USA for service - TWICE. They finally fixed the problem, although I was not told what the real problem was. I was only told that the defective parts had been replaced. I would advise you to wear the watch from the beginning to make sure you notice any problems during the 2 year warranty period. Otherwise, it will cost you a fortune to have it serviced and repaired.
